To stop puppies from biting you should encourage good behavior while also discouraging bad behavior. For example, if your puppy is going to nibble on your finger, a firm “no” would do the trick and instead of your finger, hand him a chew toy or a bone. This would make him realize that he should seek out his toys when he feels like biting something and not somebody’s fingers.
You must also be careful about the type of games that you play with your puppy. Games like tug of war or wrestling is an absolute no when you’re trying to stop puppies from biting. These small measures can go a long way in shaping your puppy’s personality as he grows up.
